The Mild are very fortunate to have even gotten a point in that game. Dubnyk played outstanding and stole a point in a game where his squad was severely outshot, outworked, and outplayed. Hats off to #40

As a Sabres and Wild fan, Justin Bailey would fill a speed position on the 4th line for the wild

Nylander to the Wild for Dumba.

Makes sense for both teams.

Toronto gets the right handed dman they need and Minny gets a dynamic offensive player with a higher ceiling then he has shown and who can play wing or centre

Bruce Boudreau can make the statements after each game how his team lacked the intensity needed at the beginning of each of the four games the Wild have played and how his team has been shown the tapes and they talk about it before every game. But the fact is Boudreau needs to step up and be held accountable for his own miscues.

How a team in the first weeks of a new season can lack so much intensity is in and of itself an enigma. Boudreau must be the catalyst for that intensity instead of complaining about the lack there of...

Will really be interesting to see what kind of intensity this squad has when they're 15 points out of a playoff spot come February.

As you pointed out Dan, it's a bit early to get too overly critical of this club, but they have not looked all that good and the proverbial writing certainly appears to be scrawled on the wall with this group.

I think the true litmus test will be tonight against Smushville. If the Wild show up for all 3 periods they have a better than average chance to come away with points of some kind but they aren't going anywhere this season if they continue to take periods off.

Nylander for Dumba makes no sense for the Wild. Why would they give up their best defenseman. Nylander is very good, but his ability at his position as compared to what Dumba gives the Wild on defense are not comparable at all.

Would I like to see Nylander in a Wild sweater right now? Hell yes, but not at the expense of Dumba.
